2025 Kansas Manufacturing Summit
The Kansas Manufacturing Summit (KMS) brings together manufacturers, educators, and community leaders to explore shared challenges and the future of manufacturing in Kansas. Attendees will gain insights into cutting-edge industry innovations and discover the diverse products and services offered by Kansas companies. Speakers representing a range of sectors will share their perspectives on key issues shaping the manufacturing landscape. The Summit also includes valuable opportunities for networking and collaboration.
The Coolest Thing
Join us on Monday, October 27, for the Coolest Thing Made in Kansas Celebration Reception, where we’ll recognize the Top 10 products selected as finalists for this year’s contest.
Presented by Forvis Mazars, the Coolest Thing Made in Kansas competition celebrates the innovation, craftsmanship, and pride of Kansas manufacturers. Any product made in Kansas is eligible, and finalists have the opportunity to showcase their products at the Summit. Winners — including the Overall Winner and the People’s Choice Winner — will be announced live on stage during the Kansas Manufacturing Summit on Tuesday, October 28.

Cancellation Policy
We understand plans change. If you cannot attend, refunds can be requested up to 15 days before the event by contacting events@KansasChamber.org.
Registrations can be transferred to another person if cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event. However, refunds are not available after this period because of commitments with event vendors.
Hotel Information
Hotel rooms are available at the Hyatt Regency Wichita at $135. The room block is available until September 15, 2025.

Dr. Sheree Utash, Ed.D., serves as President of Wichita State University Campus of Applied Sciences and Technology (WSU Tech), formerly known as Wichita Area Technical College (WATC). Since assuming the presidency in 2015, Dr. Utash has led WSU Tech through a period of significant transformation, including the pivotal 2018 affiliation with Wichita State University and the transition from WATC to WSU Tech.

Eric leads the Chamber’s government affairs team and its policy and advocacy efforts on pro–business legislation. Eric’s primary focus has included worker’s compensation, unemployment insurance, immigration, health care and tort reform. In addition, Eric is responsible for the Chamber’s advocacy on tax policy, government efficiency, state budget and legal reform.

Ms. Toreelyn (Toree) Murphy serves as a Cybersecurity Advisor for the state of Kansas which is part of Region 7 (IA, KS, MO, and NE) for the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Integrated Operations Division. Based in Wichita, Kansas she supports the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) mission of strengthening the security and resilience of the nation’s critical infrastructure.

Mike is a managing director in the Forvis Mazars Washington National Tax office. He has more than 40 years of experience in federal taxation, including 37 years in international taxation.
