Martin Compton joined BG Automation LLC over three and a half years ago to expand the robotics division and position BG Automation LLC to be the local source in the Wichita area for robotic integration.

Martin’s team’s primary goal is to help small to midsize local businesses to compete in the global market by automating aspects of their business that generate the best rate of return.

Prior to joining BG Automation, Martin worked for an Automation Distributor out of Minnesota called Hartfiel Automation.  Martin spent 14 years with this company helping local manufacturers in the Wichita area bring their ideas to market.  In that time, Martin worked on everything from component sales to full control systems for his customers.

Before moving to America, Martin worked in Manchester, England for 10 years where he headed the sales and service division for Injection Molding Machines for Victor Europe Limited.  Prior to joining Victor Europe, Martin worked for their parent company Victor Taichung in Taiwan where he helped design and manufactured Plastic Injection Molding Machine, CNC and Machining Centers.

Originally from Ireland, Martin has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical and industrial engineering.
